The Minotome PLUS? offers speed, convenience and reliability and is designed for use as a cryogenic sectioning device in clinical, pathological, and research applications. The advance/ retract function of the motorized arm improves operator safety and efficiency; also features a manual ratchet wheel at the rear of the microtome. The quick freeze plate accommodates up to 13 specimen holders for sample preparation; rapidly freeze specimen down to–40oC. Unit comes with a handy temperature selection table with ideal sample running guidelines.

The intuitive control panel is glove friendly for user safety and very easy to program. Use the control panel to set the desired section thickness, program time and temperature parameters, display freeze plate and chamber temperatures, and illuminate the cutting chamber. For added convenience, cryostat comes equipped with front casters to help you easily transport unit to your desired location.
